DIY stair kits are prefabricated staircases made in our workshop and delivered ready for you to install on site. Each kit is manufactured to suit your space, packed in sequence and labelled clearly, so the installation feels straightforward even if it’s your first time. You get the same craftsmanship and accuracy we use in our full installation projects, simply packaged for a DIY approach.
The kits are engineered to Australian Standards and designed so you can install confidently without relying on multiple trades. Floating stairs can seem complex, but our modular systems and documentation make the process easily manageable. If you prefer a full installation service instead, our Stairs Australia page has you covered.
Great stairs start with good people. We care about doing things properly with honest service, quality workmanship and fair, competitive pricing that never cuts corners. It’s how we’ve built our reputation for reliability and results across Australia.

Single spine stairs offer a clean, architectural look with a central steel beam supporting each tread. They’re perfect for modern homes where you want an open feel without compromising strength.

All you need are basic tools. If additional equipment is required for your specific project, our team will guide you through every step.

Get Your Quote
Send us your plans, site photos or measurements and we’ll prepare a clear, tailored quote for your DIY kit. You’ll know exactly what’s included, the materials selected and the expected lead time before anything progresses.

Measure Up
Accurate sizing is essential. You can follow our measuring guide or ask our team for assistance if you need extra clarity. For complex projects, we can arrange a site visit in eligible areas (Perth & Darwin customers). Once confirmed, we prepare drawings based on your exact layout.

Review and Approve your Drawings
We produce detailed production drawings showing every component, fixing point and measurement. Nothing moves into fabrication until you’ve reviewed and approved the plans.

Fabrication, Packing and Delivery
Your staircase is built in our Maddington workshop, prefabricated for accuracy and packed in the order you’ll install it. Every part is labelled and supplied with all fixings, drawings and step-by-step video guides. We ship DIY kits Australia wide so you can assemble your staircase with confidence at your own pace.
Every DIY kit we manufacture is engineered to meet the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS). Each component is prefabricated in our workshop for accuracy, so your staircase is built on a safe and compliant foundation from the start.
Compliance can feel complex when you’re installing a staircase yourself, which is why we provide clear drawings, fixing locations and step-by-step video guides. Our team is also available by email to help you stay aligned with current requirements and avoid common mistakes during installation.
Our focus is to deliver a high-quality staircase that feels safe, durable and finished to the same standard as our full installation projects.
